Maxwell Food Center and Chinatown Complex Center, Singapore

What's to do on the last day in Singapore for food lovers...load up on hawker food of course. We had lunch at Maxwell Food Center for the famous Tian Tian Chicken Rice. We walked to Chinatown via Merlion Park to visit the famous half lion and half fish mythical beast. We then had another hawker dinner at the Chinatown Complex Center.

There is always a line at Tien Tien Chicken.

Here it is…tender and full of flavor.

Packed with patrons at 11:30 a.m. already.
Merlion Park to visit the famous half-lion and half-fish mythical beast.

An ji famous for their fish-head dishes.

Cheers

Pork ribs with bitter melon. (My favorite)

Fish head in bean sauce.

Prawns and tofu.
Calamari and ongchoy

Ginger onion frog leg stir-fried.

We didn’t try the duck, but they looked delicious.

Holy dried lizards. We didn’t try these either.
