Wandering Among The Red Rocks

While taking a few days off from writing, Herman and I spent some quality time in Sedona, AZ.  The beauty of forest floors growing into red-rock mesas are truly breathtaking. It had a profound effect on both of us, including (as you can see below) Herman meditating in the center of a babbling creek.  Yes, this is a spiritual space once you get away from the Indian jewelry and T-shirt shops in the downtown area.

There are many hiking trails here, and it doesn’t take long to get away from all the other tourists and be saturated by the chaos of nature. This place is rejuvenating.
