Day Nine on the Camino – Credentials

Pilgrims are expected to carry official credentials and collect stamps as proof of actually having traveled along the Camino. It's also required if you're staying at the Abergues.

Well, we haven't stayed at any of the abergues yet, instead opting for private accommodations such as hotels, guest houses, pensiones, and B&Bs. Alan refuses to sleep in a room with fifteen bunks. So you can see, it hasn't been all suffering on the Camino.
Pilgrim's Passport - you get one or two stamps in each town along the way.

Our room at the very posh Parador Fresnada in Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

 Bar area so the Parador.

Pilgrims lining up for a bed at an abergue in Belorado.

Our top floor apartment even had a sauna.

 B&B in Akerreta.

A nice comfortable room in Belorado.

Morning view from our room in Villafranca Montes de Oca.
