Spain Vacation Day 5 0f 40

Up early for a quick breakfast at the hotel and then a 2-hour bus ride into Bilboa. It proved a lovely drive and once we got to Bilboa we went to the laundromat and did a load of laundry. 

We dropped off our bags at the hotel and then walked the town. I love Bilboa. It’s charming with lots of great restaurants and interesting things to see. Attractive old downtown buildings. Few tourists. Easy to find your way around. Surprisingly, we were so busy checking out the city and all the many sites of interest that we failed to take any pictures. Normally, Herman is Johnny-on-the-spot with his camera, but not today.

 

Enjoyed a sandwich and a beer for lunch, and then checked into our hotel for a nice hot shower and a nap. Still dealing with jet lag. Had dinner at a Chinese restaurant, a nice light meal. Then back to our room for the night.

Did not sleep well. Hopefully this damned jet lag will resolve itself soon.
